Padding Cockpit Coaming

Does anyone pad the top of the coaming for comfort when using a tiller extension? I'm not talking about hiking out, just sitting up higher and a little outboard for a better view and a change of seating position.

Not bolsters for seat backs. Not padded pants.

Seadeck or similar is one option, but there is not much padding. Seadeck also makes SA coaming bolsters for fishing boats. They are overpriced and won't fit my situation anyway.

I'm considering a thick EVA DIY option, perhaps attached with long Velcro strips, though it could also glue on. Upholstery is probably a bad idea, since you want some backside traction.

I'm not thinking of doing a large area, only a few feet at the back, so little or no foot traffic.

Re: Padding Cockpit Coaming

Guess not many do. Maybe a cushion or pillow would be enough for most people.
