Re: Problems With Maui Jim Sunglasses

I am a big MJ fan, but like others, I have experienced failures as well: one pair is quite old, glass lenses but it has a film treatment that has distortion and a slight delamination. Another pair was a frameless MJ Sport that the lens broke at the nose piece. I had a third pair with the flexible titanium ear piece that broke when my wife set a book onto them by accident in the dark. I know I can send them back for $75/ a pair and get them fixed, but I've been too lazy to do it yet. I think I've had about 10 MJ pairs to date, I like their styling but have always thought they were overpriced.

Oh, almost forgot, Costco sells MJ sunglasses. They are typically much cheaper than other outlets but they are also discontinued/previous styles
