Spinlock Deckvest 6d - Pro Sensor Removal

Anyone with Deckvest 6D know how tight the damn Pro Sensor is supposed to be?

Mine turned up yesterday and I'm just getting around to testing it. As apart of the servicing process, they say to remove the CO2 canister and the sensor before manually inflating the bladder.

I can't get the damn sensor off. It's almost as if it's seized to the firing system. I'm board line at the point of getting a damn pipewrench! What doesn't help is the sensor system is perfectly smooth and round... There is no grip points on it!!!!

Managed to get this sorted.

If you encounter the same issue I had, wrap the sensor section with the dark grey elastic band (or any) that comes with the package. Then try to unscrew it.

The problem is the new firing system uses perfectly smooth sensors with no grips/groves on them. When it's over-tightened it's near impossible to get free without something to increase your grip.
