Stolen Genniker and furler

We left our Beneteau 49 on a mooring at Fernandina Harbor Marina for three weeks. On return I noticed the two part Genniker halyard was now one part! The halyard had been cut and removed along with the Facnor continuous Furlex and the Genniker in its turtle was gone too. It was a 160% Doyle UPS, made of 4.5 oz Mylar and was a great sail. It was kept on deck in a turtle since there is very little sail storage on a Beneteau. Marina and police were both shocked, saying there was very little boat theft here. I'm going to check eBay and Craigslist but appreciate ideas from you all.

I've got to admit that stealing a furler is a new one on me. I also do not consider Fernandina Beach a theft prone area.
Any identifying colors/markings on the sail or sleeve?

The disturbing part of your story is that these items only have value to a sailor . . . a knowledgeable sailor. Sorry for your loss. I hope you have good insurance. Good luck and safe sailing.
