Treading water: a different sort of crew overboard story

Grandparents returned to the marina. Realised 14 year-old grandson was missing. Grandson spent 2 hours treading water.

Teen boy's stunning survival story after falling off grandparents' yacht

Follow-up stories (with minor differences in 'facts', such as large yacht vs motor vessel, boy on bow or walking along deck near or beside his grandfather, supposed satellite images of the location etc - all of which seem to be part and parcel of the current standard of journalism):

Wow, I sure feel for the grandparents.. and what a feat pulled off by the boy. Really glad for all it worked out ok. Next week I am going to test my kids' water treading skills! Mine too, now that I think of it.
