12vDC Air Conditioning Recommendations

Please share your recommendations on 12vDC powered air conditioners and brands. I'd like to install one on my boat but am not sure which brand to get.

I'm only aware of Mabru, but I have never seen one.

I have been researching AC for my boat. Here is some info on a Mabru 12 volt ac install on the O'Kellys sailing channel.

I am convinced I want a VSD unit (probably Velair) but not convinced the 12 volt unit is worth the extra money (for me).

Would be interested in your thought and experience if you pull the trigger.
