All electric galley: pizza stone ?!

I bought this pizza stone for use with our propane fired Magma grill in the cockpit. Yes, propane and linked to this “all electric galley” series

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The reason is that while the electric convection oven does not generate any moisture and much less heat, it’s still a lot of heat and we have this grill in the cockpit that we can convert to oven with the simple addition of this rectangular ceramic pizza stone.

It fits the popular rectangular magma grills with a 12” x 18” surface area. The lid closes onto the stone but that’s just fine.

We will bake our bread rolls and pizzas in there, using the nir al baking pans so not straight onto the stone although I think that would be fine as well.

We did bake in the grill without the stone before and found the heat was not spread evenly enough. Great that these pizza stones are available in rectangular size now
