Alpenglow

We recently returned from a 3 1/2 year jaunt through the Gulf, 3 trips to the Bahamas and 3 trips up and down the East Coast. We have been fortunate that most of the equipment we selected for our boat has performed well. One company I would highly recommend is Alpenglow. We ordered several of their flourescent lights which are very nice looking and are finished with wood trim. They feature a high/low white light switch and a high/low red light switch (the red light switch is a different size in case you get confused in the dark). We also bought several of their LED reading lights. We have been very pleased with their products.

The main reason for this post though, is to give them kudos for their customer service. I broke one of the switches on an LED light, and they shipped me 2 new switches at their cost, no questions asked. It wasn't their fault the switch broke. Great product, great service.

We purchases an Alpenglow main ca bin LED light bordered by teak. With both red and white lights, both have two brightnessess. The curved multifaceted lens really throws the light well and it has the closest color of light (not glaring white) to a regular incandescent bulb we could find. I am a fan of their customer service also.
