Annapolis area boatyard recommendation

So we had a light strike, very unfortunate. Looking for a boatyard recommendation for haul and survey. Hopefully they can repair most systems affected also.

The yard with the most service vendors is Bert Jabin's in Annapolis. Sorry about the lightning strike. We recently used Chesapeake Dockside for electrical work (AGM to Lithium conversion) and very happy with their work. You may need to locate your own surveyor.

if you were willing to go a bit further south, Herrington harbor North has an extensive yard with quite a few onsite vendors...

I can't speak to their electrical work, but Yacht Maintenance Co in Cambridge just did a great job helping me out with some structural stuff. They're also much less expensive than anywhere else I've been. It's a 40 mile trip from downtown Annapolis, not sure if that's too far for you to consider.

Re: Annapolis area boatyard recommendation

Having stayed at both, I can 100% recommend Jabins over Herrington if you actually need to have work done.

Herrington is a nice place to stay, but the local workers are more used to farm tractors than boats. You can get much more professional yacht grade work in Annapolis.
