Everbrite for mast/boom instead of paint?

I am planning on taking down and refinishing the mast/booms. Does anyone have any long term experience with a product called Everbrite for sailboat aluminum mast and booms instead of the traditional painting? The company claims about 3-5 years life before the coating wears off and the aluminum can start oxidizing or you recoat it.
