has anyone experience with this solar powered anemometer - OpenWind ?

Hi Folks,

I've stumbled upon this device on instagram, it looks pretty slick. I couldn't find a lot of information about it as it seems to be a new product. i own a 16' sailing boat with no battery and electronics, but this thing seems to be ideal i've been looking for something like this for some time.

Entertaining isn't he. Barking mad? perhaps, but note the chosen route downwind to do this. This has been carefully thought through, just wish he had put the wash boards in and clipped on. Still I do look forward to his videos which given the conditions are really good . Doubt I could film like that

Old thread, but still interesting.
I do have good results with this anemometer, bluetooth works well, and the support and service of the company is ok.
Any other experience around?
