Question Repair Simrad Shipmate RS 8300
I own a black box Simrad Shipmate RS8300. After this winter the VHF stopped working. It does not receive and when transmit button is pressed it only squeaks. I have checked the connections and cleaned them but the problem persists. I inquired about the manufacturer,. I was told that they no longer provide service.
I am looking for anyone who may be able to repair this remarkably reliable machine.
