Seajet Platinum 039 antifoul

I am currently looking at re doing the antifoul on our FP Lipari. I found out that the factory apply Seajet Platinum 039. Our cruising area is Queensland water. We do give her a bit of a scrub to keep her clean and it currently doesn't look too bad, The boat is only 10 months old but she spent better than 8 weeks out of the water during transport so the paint did dry out and we have a haul out to service the sail dives and engines so we figure paint while it is out.

I have been asking around and most have recommended one of the "international" range. I like the Micron 66 but it is expensive.

Anyone have any feedback on the Seajet Platinum 039?

Can I paint the micro 66 over the top after a light sand? (If I go that way)

Is there any reason I shouldn't go with Seajet Platinum 039? I haven't got a price yet to compare.

Re: Seajet Platinum 039 antifoul

We have had Seajet Platinum on our boat for over 3 years in the Caribbean, Florida and Panama. We have found it to be excellent and superior to the Micron 66 we have used in the past.
