I did try and read the article, but every attempt hits a pay wall for me: "To continue reading this article you must be a paid subscriber"

I know they used to have a story archive. That too was accessible to subscribers only, but you used to be able to pay for individual articles. I don't mind paying for the article.

Also tried to just read that specific article w/same results as Mike.


A friend has a leaky, teaky w/soft decks and will be helping him fix them soon.

Was not able to post a link, but Practical-Sailor is Good people & definitely worth the $18/ 6 mos- $36/ yr price, I saved well more than that. Regrets

For the record, I was a long-time subscriber, but stopped a number of years ago. Still think it's a great publication, but over time the 'value for money' calculation swung increasingly away for me.
