West Marine and Product Reviews?

Am I the only one who has noticed that if you submit a negative review on a WM-sold product, it never gets posted? I am not sure if this always happens, or only when there are no other reviews.

If true, it's dishonest. Either WM wants their customers reviewing products or they don't.

Want unbiased reviews? Practical Sailor. Maybe I am jaundiced but I never trust someone who is selling me something. I don't think most of them are dishonest, they just don't "see" things the same way as you do....

There are negative reviews on West Marine's web site. Perhaps you expressed your negativity in the wrong way.

Nope. Extremely civil. And it's not the first time this has happened. It seems to happen when it's the first review.

Perhaps (I don't know) West stops selling products that get consistenly bad customer revirews. I know I would.
