Where to buy Air conditioning Equipment

Looking to source a 16-18kbtu unit thinking either cruise air or webasto. Would want shipping to St Thomas or to buy direct in St Thomas. Open to other brands and suggestions. Obviously looking for good pricing.

In St-Maarten, Budget Marine and Island Water World have their main offices and warehouses. For this reason, It's usually a good place for boat project.

Just checked both online. IWW does not sell air conditioning equip. Or at least nothing shows up on the website. Budget sells a roof top unit that's air cooled. Not what I'm looking for. Am I missing some thing? I've looked in their printed catalogs before too and did not see anything on air conditioning equip.

Was thinking of Defender back in the states and having something sent to Stt.

You may want to check freight charge to Stt compared to Puerto Rico.

Another idea: a lot of boats are leaving mid-atlantic region in about a month to sail to the VI. Maybe someone you met before is coming in. You could post a word on the Salty Dawg Rally website and the Carib 1500 as well... Sometimes a friend of a friend...

I used mermaid marine, installed 4 units on my boat, one 16.5 btu. they are located in ft meyers fl . They were easy to install and work great so far.
