Wheres the Flibbers?

Anyone heard of a small boat/dingy called a Flibber?I have come across this little boat and it is ugly and a bit heavy but it sure is stable and fast..Anyone use them for a dingy?..

They used to build a boat here in Fl called the fliver. The clowns at Cypress Gardens used to run them in the ski shows. They were heavily built because the clowns would run them over small ski jumps and up on the beaches. 8 to 10 feet long round bottom some had skegs most did not. Usually powered by a 15 or 20 hp outboard. Very rugged and quite dangerous without some training.

Thats it ,A Fliver,I think I would like to make one in composite and have it fold in half like a nesting dingy,maybe..The one I have is from 1961 I think and its in good shape,thanks for the info...
