Post Why I'm not very happy with my B&G Zeus

Hello,

I wrote a short article about some experiences with the B&G Zeus Touch. E.g. there is not all AIS data displayed on the chart plotter .

Here is the link to the article: https://www.sy-maya.de/home/en/2019/...th-my-bg-zeus/

Please let me know if you have similar or different experiences or if you have any hints how to deal with the issues.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Tobias

I got some answers for the support and updated the article accordingly, but there is still no solution for the issue with missing boats.

I have a B&G T12. It has never had a problem displaying AIS data from the N2k network.

Are you 100% sure the AIS unit is actually outputting all the data and all in the correct format?

No, I'm not 100% sure, but as mentioned in the article: other frontends (in this case OpenCPN) display all the data without any problem. That's why I think it is an issue with the B&G.
