Your Dataplan

Good Morning from Germany,

Which dataplan and Simcard do you have?

I have a EE Pay as you go with an unlimited Dataplan for the EU

Re: Your Dataplan

Guten morgen! So what we use on Wake is the Solis Skyroam for all our things. It is a little orange hockey-puck that simulates a SIM card in something like 150 countries around the world as soon as you turn it on. It makes a hotspot and you can connect up to 5 wireless devices onto it at any one time; if you connect a sixth, the first gets kicked off. Unlimited data, super high speed for the first amount and then throttled but still plenty fast to watch netflix on all day long and browse on 4 other computers. Throw it in your backpack and take it with you onshore, sail to another country and it starts working from 10 miles off shore. Costs 80 euros a month, and worth every penny for us, we love it. Otherwise we also have a bad boy wifi stealer that'll suck any restaurant wifi dry downloading movies from an anchorage a mile away

Re: Your Dataplan

Your solution sounds also very good. We can collect international simcards here of course.

I also have an MTXsimcard: https://www.mtxc.eu/

It worked great in Singapore Costa Rica and Andorra.
