Blue Water Sailing Magazine April issue

Before we started cruising I was a fanatical reader of all the cruising magazines I could get my hands on. "Blue Water Sailing" was one of my favorites because it has lots of stories about cruising destinations written by cruisers who have been there and done that.

A dream of mine came true this month when BWS put one of my photos from our cruise on their cover -- it's from Zihuatanejo Sail Fest in Mexico this past February.

I'm really excited and wanted to share this with everyone here.

More than tooting my own horn, I just wanted to let everyone know that your dreams CAN come true. Going cruising was a huge dream of mine that my sweet hubby has helped me make happen.

Better still, I was a total beginner photographer before we left on our travels in 2007, and getting a cover shot on a glossy sailing magazine is something that was beyond my wildest imagination.

So for those of you who haven't untied the dock lines and left just yet, keep dreaming and keep planning -- and most important of all, believe in your dreams, because dreams DO come true...
