I was curious to read some your favorites. What are your favorite cruising blogs?

Here are a few of mine:

Indigo Moon: Indigo Moon - Mile Markers

Adamo: The Adamo Adventure

Uliad: Welcome to Uliad.net

There are plenty of others, though. These just a few of the recent ones I’ve read and liked.
These aren't recent ones -- in fact, all of these adventures have been completed, haven't they?

I guess that's the danger of digging up an old thread.

Seems that creating a new one would have been a better idea, although this shows the fleeting nature of blogs.

We have been blogging for a couple of years sailing our yacht boat Juno in the med and the caribbean. Heading across the Atlantic and into the Pacific this winter.

Re: Favorite Cruising Blogs

I enjoy reading about people's cruising adventures but the problem I have with "blogs" is, they are hard to read. They start with today, then yesterday, then the day before, etc.

This makes it difficult and confusing to read about a trip. For example, a trip down the AICW.

Re: Favorite Cruising Blogs

I have started a kind of "zero to cruising" blog. I will be blogging and doing some video from the boat show">Annapolis Boat Show this weekend as well as the Ft. Lauderdale Show at the end of the month.

I am mainly focused on our boat search and learning about sailing, but hopefully it will morph into a lifestyle experience.

Re: Favorite Cruising Blogs

This thread is proving to be a helpful resource in finding where the blogs are, they're really good too! I tried to do a blog while cruising, but tend to end up in places where there's no internet.
So my blog shares stories that aren't "real time." But I love to share stories & entertain, so I can't help putting in a plug for it:-] it's sort of random, the last post jumps to Mexico

I tend to like bolgs of folks who are living aboard small boats and are making it work. They all seem to be striving to live as simply as possible - an idea that, for me, has greater and greater appeal with each passing year. You tube videos are a plus too.

Re: Favorite Cruising Blogs

We met Katie, Jessie, and Reggie when they rowed their dink over to meet us in No Name Harbor. Really a couple of incredible young ladies. Great writing and awesome photography. KATIE & JESSIE on a boat | aboard lovely Louise…

I love reading sailing blogs as well as writing them.

I love to read

It is a wonderful site and they post user content daily along with current events for sailing in the Pacific Northwest!
