I've enjoyed a lot of Lincoln Colcord's stories. Not really cruising or small-boat sailing -- more about serving on large ships -- but still good reading.

Got it. Looks good, I'll read it as soon as I can. It's on the site. I may have to redesign the site to accommodate all the books and poems that are out there.

I am giving the links for the books back to the original source. I don't think it is efficient for me to download then repost the book on my site, rather a waste of cyberspace. You may need to register to download, but the books are public domain. Also the linked site (American Libraries at The Internet Archives) is a gateway to over 2 million other books and texts.

I have just been exploring the site and I can see a lot of things I am going to link to. Great site!

ALONE IN THE CARIBBEAN
Being the Yarn of a Cruise in the Lesser Antilles
in the Sailing Canoe "Yakaboo"
BY FREDERIC A. FENGER

Fenger/Alone in the Caribbean/Contents

A great yarn. So much so, I still have a copy on my PC 10 years after reading it on the web!

I have Sea Wolf (conrad) and of course Slocum's. Any recent books about circumnavigating up in the ether?

I have never circumnavigated the ether.

Sounds like a mind-enhancing experience

Here's another big list of free ebooks. Probably has a lot of overlap with the list above. . . .

Nearly 600 brilliant sea yarns

I may have to steal my wife's Kindle and load it up.

Thanks for the links- the circ in the ether comment was made because the poster just had a earthquake and now a hurricane. I did not mean it to be a threat of any type.
