Re: Foul weather gear.

Love my Henri Lloyds and i take very good care of them. I had the WM waterproof ones ans sweat like a pig in them.

I'll second that.

I have had a Henri Lloyd jacket for over a decade and it is fantastic.

Very functional. As far as I'm concerned the very best at keeping me dry while retaining the ability to move about.

Re: Foul weather gear.

My experience of foulies has been limited to HH and Guy Cotten USA - Foul Weather Gear and Quality Marine Clothing - Commercial Fishing Clothing & More and I prefer the Cotten. My current set have served me for over a decade now. They are French made and mostly suited for fisherman but do have a sailing line that I highly recommend. They are better priced and just as well made, perhaps better, than the 'big 3'. Their American office is in New Bedford, which tells you something about their target market, and the guy who runs the joint is a good guy.
