Fuel Heading South on the ICW

I am presently in Charleston and am heading to Florida. I have another 300 miles of range and wondered if anyone can tell me where to fill up. I will take on roughly 1500 gals.

Thank you!

Cheapest spot would be Florida Petroleum in Fernandina Beach. I'm assuming it's diesel.

Waterway Guide publishes a good online list of places to fill up, including prices.

Thanks very much for your information. I will call Florida Petroleum. Based solely on their listing on Marinefuels.com, they are not very cheap! But, the information may be incorrect.

The Waterway Guide is also very helpful.

Too bad that you’ve already passed Coinjock*, N.C., famed for the cheapest diesel on the ICW.
This is a narrow little stretch of river with face docks on each side of the ICW. Coinjock Marina (252-453-3271) always has the cheapest fuel prices in the south. The restaurant also serves great prime rib.

* Coinjock is located about 50 miles south of Norfolk, Virginia, and 85 miles north of Belhaven, NC.
