That 400000 EUR cat I would of bought in Dec would of cost 600k US. Now its 475k US.

AND, for the first time since I was a kid (that I can remember) the Canadian dollar passed the US dollar. I exchanged funds last week and it was $1.0065 US to $1 Canada.

Time to go shopping for Canadians.

Del, when I first started working for Amdahl Corp. the Canadian dollar was $1.05 US. That was in 1976.

Off topic, greetings from Mexico. In November I used to get almost 20 pesos for every euro I moved from my home country to my Mexican account (I used to do monthly money transactions). Now anyway, the value has fallen soooooo low (down to 14.5 at times!) that it is absolutely senseless. Luckily I can live of my girfriend at the moment who gets paid here so there is no need to lose huge amounts of money to keep myself fed.

It is not just boats themselves that are becoming cheaper relative to the USD. Our insurance is with a Dutch company who we pay in Euros. Our renewal policy was 20% less expensive this year for us!
