Insurance liability responsibilities of owner vs paid delivery crew

I am working towards buying a boat in South Africa that will need to be delivered to the East coast USA (Florida).

I intend to use professional delivery crew to sail the boat to the US.

What is the norm with regards to liability insurance for such crew? Am I, the owner, liable for any injury or worst case, loss of life should something happen during the delivery, or does professional crew mean that they are responsible for any situation during the delivery, and as such also reliant on their own insurances

I wont be on the boat during the delivery.

When I do a delivery I ask to the owner to make sure that their liability and damage insurance coverage covers me. I also carry personal liability insurance.

Understand about asking a potential crew member, professional or volunteer, to produce proof of personal liability insurance.
What about me as owner, need to call my home insurance to see if the umbrella policy will cover in case the crew is injured, has anybody had this experience?
