International Financing

Quick question for someone who may have done it before...
I am a US Citizen (retired military) currently living and working in the UAE. I want to buy a boat. I applied for a boat mortgage stateside and was easily approved for more than I wanted. Thing is, they wont even consider financing a boat that isn't in the US. They'll finance a boat in the US and I can leave the US with it. I dont really want to have a boat shipped from Florida to the UAE.

Can anyone reccomned a company that will do a boat mortgage on a vessle that is overseas. Pereferably a US bank. The few I have contacted have similar policies. Financing is not idea, I know...but if I buy a boat and live on it here with what I make, I can pay it off in 18-24 months easy.

I've had some problems, I am trying to buy a $200k + boat with down payment of $100k credit score is 790....can't find anyone to finance a boat in Caribbean for US citizen.
