Medical Evacuation Insurance

We are looking into medical evacuation insurance as we're heading to the South Pacific. I know that many people are members of the Divers Assistance Network (DAN) but my wife read the fine print on their web site closely and could only find that it provides evacuation in the event of a diving accident. How many cruisers out there have medical evacuation insurance? Has anyone had an occasion to use DAN when it wasn't a diving accident? I'd be interested to hear any information.

I could have sworn I had read something about it on C/F but my searches produced nothing.

We then again decided not to take it, as we are staying in Europe. South Pacific is a different matter
