Anyone familiar with this agency in CA? Comments?

I got a quote from them a few days ago. The only negative thing I could say so far is that they don't offer agreed replacement value coverage on older (ie. '70's vintage) boats. If I decide to use them, I'll let you know more, but I hope never to have a claim with them, of course!

They are probably actually Agents for a company, not an actual insurance underwriting company themselves. Nothing wrong with that - I work for an agency myself. It's important to know the reputation of how the Agency employees treat their clients. However it's even more important that you find out who the actual Insurance Company is that is providing the financial backing for the policy, and then find out what their rating is with AM Best, or S&P.
