Reputable Surveyor in SF Bay Area?

I'm interested in a boat located in Newark, CA and am wondering if anyone knows of a reputable surveyor in the area that could take a look at it for me. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Jesse Brody of Bay Marine Survey, (415) 324-0757 did a great job for me last December. I ended up not getting that boat because of his findings and now am glad. Very thorough and good at explaining what he saw. Not sure if his area includes Newark.

Jack Mackinnon is in San Lorenzo, 510-276-4351. He is a long time surveyor, and I'm sure he would do a good job for you.

Call some of the better boat yards. They know who the good surveyors are. I would call KKMI in Richmond first. Ask the yard managers Bob or Jock who they would recommend.

Surveyor

I do not think Jack McKinnon is doing surveys anymore. The guy who did my insurance survey was recommended by Jack and his name is Randy Sharpe who is Alameda. He did a very thorough job--the best, most complete survey I have ever had. I highly recommend him.
