Surveyor recommendation, So. MD?

I've got my eyes on a boat in the Solomons, MD area. Looking for surveyor suggestions in that vicinity, maybe as far north as Annapolis. Thanks.

I just used Charles Ulrick. He seemed to be very thorough, and the broker thought so as well. Reasonably priced as well.

I was extremely pleased with the thorough survey Bill Weyant of East Coast Marine Consulting did for my boat. Marine Surveyor Baltimore | East Coast Marine Consulting

I had just weeks earlier gotten another survey on a different boat that was about half as detailed as Bill's. He really "gets in there". I learned a ton from being there with him.

He would be convenient as most likely, we will be doing the short haul somewhere in Solomons.

What kind of boats did he do for you?

We used Mike Previti in the Fall and he was very knowledgable and thorough. I would not hesitate to use him again. He surveyed our 2003 Beneteau 423. He works sail and motor vessels. We were present and he showed us his findings as he went.

It was a Tayana 37. I've owed the boat since new in 1985 and while he did not do the initial survey back in 1985, he has done at least 3 surveys on it since then. The last work he did was a laminate profile when I had if up for sale about 6 years ago in Annapolis.
