Cheers for the link - looks pretty much spot on, except:-

a) it would cost for a new Group (I don't quibble with that on principle - just when writing a cheque )

and

b) a bit too much work for me with no income stream! - and none intended, for me the whole ethos of something like this would be about sharing a real experiance and not for simply commercial gain - if folks want that (Boat Owner / Crew) they can simply do the Charter thing - a squillion commercial operations to choose from......but also so that the boat owner is not subsidising the Crew! (even if only inadvertantly). Otherwise would be cheaper and less aggro to mail a cheque

Anyway, thanks to all for the recent positive feedback - the devil, as always , is in the detail - will put my thinking cap back on and see if I can come up with a plan that may work for all (Boat Owners, Crewmates, CF.com............and me!).
