Upturn in Boat Market?

Here at our marina several boats have been for sale for some time. Recently a 50' ketch had an offer and two power boats, a trawler and a 36' cruiser sold.

I hope this micro sample in New Bern means things are about to get better in the U.S. boat market.

The good and well priced boats always sell. But who will buy all those flashy Bavarias/Hunters consisting mostly of shiny gelcoat and bought with credit at grossly inflated prices ????

If the prices go down the market will revive but I have not seen them coming down - I think most sellers are locked in the punch by their overdrafted credit lines.
