Well the live program has just started here in Portugal..
Looks to be a good turn out off spectator boats and on shore..

LRPP win the start, TNZ lose a bunch early then claw back mid way and round 8s behind. Close on the downwind, with TNZ gaining a bit on the left side. Now LRPP pulling ahead in the bottom half of the downwind.

LRPP gybe and round the left mark, TNZ follow 10s behind.

Now a split, with LRPP on the left. TNZ gain big on a shift

TNZ tack onto starboard, LRPP behind and tacking to leeward

LRPP left it too late, left room for TNZ to stay clear. Now TNZ on top of LRPP.

Big gains upwind by TNZ and round 19s ahead. Both on starboard to the left boundary. Commentators think more wind on the left, though TNZ passed on the right via a shift

Re: America’s Cup - ETNZ launches 1st AC75 (new)

ETNZ puts paid to any rumours of being slower upwind.

More boat speed, more VMG, and faster through the tacks than LR.

Leg 3's performance from ETNZ will very worry LR.

Could be down to jib choice too though. ETNZ running a smaller jib.

LRPP with J2 and TNZ with J3 - is that the difference? LRPP round 29s behind

Excellent move by NZ choosing to go right on 3rd leg.. gained 29seconds on LRP.
