Yes normally ETNZ would gybe in that position to not end up stuck on LR's windward hip, but in such light air (and 2 lots of dirty air!), better to roll them and stay on the same side of the course as LR in clear air, and sail to the boundary (I think...)

Shortening the course by one leg finish now at windward gate... LRP struggling to get back on foils.
