"Boat jumble"

Hi,

I am going to be visiting Scotland from South Africa in a weeks time, and I heard that the UK does "boat jumbles", basically like boot sales but for marine stuff rather than general purpose.

Does anybody know of anything like this (or just general second-hand boating stores) in the Ullapool/Inverness/Edinburgh/Aberdeen areas of the next couple of weeks?

I am hoping to be able to pickup some boat gear at better prices than I can get locally which tends to be rather expensive!

They're often posted online somewhere.. try www.gumtree.com for your area of interest.. they do Free Ads which many take advantage of to promote Car boot Sales, Jumbles etc.
Also online local newspapers.. most do a web print..
