Boat Slip in Bahamas

Does anyone have suggestions on where I can safely store my 30 ft. sailing cat in the Bahamas. I would like to cruise 6 months out of the year and store there the rest without paying a fortune. I am not fussy about which island or lots of amenities. Safety from storms and thieves is more important. Thanks so much !!

Re: Boat Slip in Bahamas

I would recommend a mooring in Georgetown. Will run you about $350 a month. Possibly less for 30' there's also a mangrove canal south of Rolleville you could anchor for free and be quite close to the airport. Might want to pay a local fisherman a bit every month to keep an eye in that case.
