Centerboard - Maintenance?
How much maintenance is there with a centerboard? I guess it depends on the model. Some people say every year they need to take the boat out of the water to work on it, MacGregor owners claim they never do maintenance on it.

Is there any other sailboat besides the MacGregor that can go right up on the beach? What other models have centerboards that can go all the way in?

What is the truth?
