Chartplotter maps

I have Axiom plotter, planning trip from Tortola to FL

Navinics falls short of the first 500nm, I see C Maps covers that area.

Any suggestions, I don't plan on returning to the Caribbean so looking to keep costs down

Can you give an example of how Navionics falls short in the first 500nm. Looking quickly at their online chart viewer picking a few different points, they look reasonable.

I bought the Navionics maps for my phone when I did a charter in the BVIs. but I think they were $20 then and now they are $50!

According to the Web, C Maps are compatible with the Axiom plotter but I don't know how much their maps are or anything about them. There is an old thread where people seem to like them for that area...
