Currents

Hello.

Is there a web site that we can access which shows us the currents? I can always find the tides but never the currents. Does this exist out there?

Open CPN has some surrent data, you can also access the NOAA Pilot Charts which have predicted carrent data for each month. I also use Admiralty Total Tide which has some current data, luckily I have free access to this program, its not cheap

A lot of computer navigation systems on PC's have tide and current information built in or attachable.
- - There are also stand alone tide and current programs like Tides32 - WXTide32 - Tides and Currents for Win9x/NT

A simple google of currents, and area with give you your information if you have no programs........i2f

Be aware that some can be completly wrong, allway double check them with an official chart "Tidal streams referred to HW at xxx"
