DELMARVA race on Cheasapeak

Have any of you participated in this race? It sounds fun. I have been kind of half ass invited to crew on a boat and would like to hear some more details.

Thanks

You may want to post this over on Sailing Anarchy also.

Lots of racers over there.

You need to give the specifics as well. The World Cruising Club runs one of their rallies (ARC) around Delmarva in June. Start-end at Annapolis going counter-clockwise. Yours is probably something different, so you can help yourself with the specifics.

Looks like that's the Race (ARC DelMarVa) going by the way he used the word Delmarva. (Delaware/Maryland/Virginia)

It actually circumnavigates the peninsula. 450 miles. Looks like a pretty interesting race

If it is, you can track your favorite boat or simply track the fleets progress. This from 2015:

It is a rally, not a race.

Okay, it's a rally! (soft core race with results: Leaderboard)

Re: DELMARVA race on Cheasapeak

If we are talking about the DelMarVa Rally, go to the World Cruising Club website and down load the package. All the details needed are there. Also, this rally has been written up in one of the sailing magazines and Latitudes, the World Cruising Club magazine. I think if you contact the World Cruising Club website, they will send you this magazine for free. Tons of stuff on that site about this rally, literally, and don't forget to do a internet search to find the sailing magazine (either Sailing, Sail or Cruising World) article as well.
