Re: Do I need to check in?

2nd the ROAM app for checking into the US. Makes it very easy and you don’t have to speak to an American BP agent. They can be quite surly at times! OTOH I’ve never had anything but pleasant experiences with Canadian border patrol, at least on the phone. They were very patient and helpful the first time we checked in. Partly I think because we had emailed our info ahead of time.

If you check in in person at Cape Vincent the folks there are usually very nice though.
