Blister issue was dealt with back in 1992 too so very few blisters

We did our blister job in 99. Not a single one since.... on the hull. The deck is another story. Doesn't matter on the deck and are not a functional problem.... she is beautiful. Our's is a 76.
We have done everything that you can imagine to the boat... new fuel tank(s), integrated water tanks, every bit of wire replaced and new electronics. Rigging, generators, sails, upholstery, hatches, electric winches, bulkheads re-tabbed, chainplates...etc. The Westerbeke is still going strong after 43 years (really just a 'lawn-mower' engine by today's standards... IMHO!)
5 cyclones (at anchor, in the tropics) since we've owned her.
No house to fall back on, no big bank account... this is it... could not be happier... with the boat or the life style.
