Healthcare for the chronic disease/health issues while cruising Bahamas

Looking for suggestions on healthcare for the immunocompromised while cruising. I'm HIV+ and looking for feedback from anyone else who's immunocompromised, chronic deceases or has to take daily medications.

I am planing to spend the 6 months in the Bahamas November - May and was a just wondering how you get your medications, where you keep your healthcare. etc? Currently I get my healthcare through my employer, but will be switching to the ACA marketplace while I am away from work. I can typically get 3 months medication at a time, but my doctor requires bloodwork every three months to get a refill.

What do other people do for healthcare, medication refills, etc?

Thanks, but what about insurance, do people just keep their insurance in the USA, or do they get some sort of international insurance, etc?

Buy meds locally or ship them from the USA?
