Hope Town, Elbow Cay Disaster?

We have not heard anything from our friends who live in Hope Town since yesterday. What few images I have seen of Marsh Harbor do not look good.

Does anyone have any news? Our friends in Nassau are fine. My heart is with the people of the Abacos.

The Power is down, throughout Abacos, and probably cell towers, as well.
Marsh Harbour is flooded.
Spanish Wells waterfront was flooded.
Eleuthera's glass wall was "closed".

No word from our friends yet but we can see their house is intact and still has it’s roof so we remain hopeful. Also, the light house is still standing and it looks like the cupola wasn’t destroyed so maybe the Fresnel lens survived.

Otherwise things do not look good. The heavily damaged blue building to the left of the group of survivors in the attached photo is the post office. There are reports of looting in Marsh Harbor. Link below to the sailing club website with some info.
