The town found the names of the owners and contacted them. One owner said oh I don’t own the boat any more. I gave it to my brother. The town called the brother. Yep, Ive seen similar. One guy gave a boat away, never followed up on paperwork, the new "owner" did not secure the boat properly for an approaching hurricane. The uninsured boat broke loose and went careening thru the marina racking up large damages. Guess who got sued?
