Maine Mooring or Slip

Hey folks. I’m working at a boatyard in the sea coast area of Maine next year and am absolutely blown away that every single marina I contact has no availability for a slip or mooring for 2023.

Anyone have any ideas for a live aboard in the sea coast area I’m not thinking of? My next bet is living in my camper in one of the seasonal campgrounds but that is my least desirable option as they are often packed to the gills and I’m more of a leave and quiet kinda guy.

I’ll be in York. I’m on the waitlist and have contacted the harbormaster about a seasonal transient mooring but I’m trying to get this dealt with as soon as possible so I can work an alternative option if mooring or slips don’t work out.
