Marina recommendation: SW Florida

We are trying to purchase a 40 foot catamaran and spend the winter in SW Florida (below Tampa), but we are having trouble finding a marina with space for us, live aboard for a couple months before we hope to venture out further.


Does anyone have any recommendations? We're small town/quiet type of people.

Catamaran slips on the west coast are few and far between.

Your best bet might be Regatta Pointe Marina in Palmetto, FL. The only downside there, is that it is about an hour trip down the river to get to open water.
