Miami Strictly Sail Two Can Sail Seminar

My wife and I are planning to go to the Strictly Sail boat show">Miami Boat show. One of the many, many couples where I have the dream to go and ...... you know the rest. We grew up racing sailboats on inland waters and have done a couple of BVI charters, but live-aboard and blue water are very intimidating. Hopefully walking through the various boats and seeing what is available will help build confidence.

Planning to participate in a couple of the one hour seminars and wondering if it is worth the $300 to attend the all day, Two Can Sail Couples Cruising seminar. It is put on by Jeff Grossman and Jean Levine Grossman. Looks like they have impressive resumes, experience and favorable testimonials, but that does not always translate to seminar management and presentation.

Wondering if anyone here knows them, or has attended one of their seminars? I think the right setting would do wonders to get my wife to see the potential, but someone reading power point slides in a monotone could be a death blow!
