Are you at the Long Beach Marina at Shoreline Village? We called it home for 18 months when we owned our Hunter. We were on the HH dock if I remember correctly, one over from the beach and impound dock. Front row seats for the finish line for the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Different details, but similar issue with a really annoying consequence:

I decided to buy the wife a new carbon fiber kayak paddle for her birthday. Did a bit of online research, searching, etc. Order the paddle.

Two days before her birthday she asks me if I was getting her a new kayak paddle for her birthday present.

Stupid ads following the browser around competely screwed up any possible surprise.

The weirdest one for me was my phone. I looked up a restaurant in New Mexico 6 years ago. I'm on my third phone and second service provider since then and for some reason that restaurant still pops up in my predictive search text.

Some woman named Joanna is on many sites I go to and many, many ads pop up when I play Scrabble where she wants to explain why she is either leaving or not leaving her husband or her TV show. I am glad I do not own a tv.

Cross marketing...I search for boat or Jeep parts and ads for such pop up on my wife's browser.

Have thought of browsing some really kinky porn site as a joke just to see if it pops up on her machine. 😆
